Regularly thinking of my wife throughout the day. That’s the goal, and I liked it. Fortunately, we had the chance to sleep in and enjoy the morning together. But afterwards, she went to a Bible study, had a few hours work, and then went to youth group – which is full on for at least four hours. My dad was virtually identical, making it tough to let Kristin know that I was thinking of her.
I sent a text and gave her a couple calls, but she was unable to pick up the phone because kids were around. I was thinking of her, but I think Fridays are the most difficult day for us to be in touch once we leave home. It’s just the nature of our jobs.
Overall, I think this was a great dare. It’s one of those little things that goes a long way to showing someone you care.
